Alliy's Smoothers are for external, topical use by adults. They should not be applied to broken or irritated skin (with the exception of RESTORE and REPLENISH blends) or to sensitive areas such as mucous membranes, face or genitals. They should NEVER be taken internally and should be diluted for use on larger or multiple body areas (eg for massage). As they are harmful if taken orally, they must be kept out of reach of children and pets.
Alliy's Smoothers may not be suitable for all people. It is your responsibility that if you have any condition or ailment, physical or mental, that you consult your doctor or qualified health practitioner to ascertain whether the product will be suitable for you. If you are on ANY prescription medication, over the counter medication or herbal medication, please consult your pharmacist, naturopath, doctor or other qualified health practitioner before use. Alliy's Smoothers are not suitable for pregnant or lactating women or young children.
Alliy's Smoothers DEEP and RESTORE blends should not be used by people on medications, unless approved by your above mentioned qualified health practitioner. Also, these two blends should not be used on sun exposed areas of the body without adequete sun protection as they may make your skin more susceptible to sunburn (uncommon).
Although the ingredients in Alliy's Smoothers are natural plant-based proucts, eveyone's reactions to things is different. If you are allergic to any of the plants (or plant families) used in Alliy's Smoothers, use is not recommended. It is strongly recommended that if you are using Alliy's Smoothers (or a new blend) for the first time that you conduct a skin patch test on youself before applying the product to the desired area. This is good practice with ALL cosmetic products.
To Patch Test yourself: Apply 1 drop of an Alliy's Smoothers product to an unbroken area of skin on your forearm. Wait 24 hours to see if any skin reaction occurs. If one does occur, or you experience any unusual syptoms, cease use immediately.
Some people with very sensitive skin, weakened constitutions or other conditions may build up a reaction to any cosmetic product over time. This is called sensitisation. If you notice any skin reactions or unusual symptoms during your period of use of the product, cease use immediately.
For the vast, vast majority of people, use of Alliy's Smoothers will be a happy and rewarding experience. No adverse skin reactions for the products have been recorded to date. Like with most cosmetic products, the risk of problems is very low.
